Painting with Numbers: Making the Expert Witness’s Expertise Shine Through

Thursday, August 31, 2017

12:00 p.m. Mountain Time

Program Description

Communicating effectively is a skill critical to every expert witness. And yet, even though for many expert witnesses the most important information they are presenting is the numbers, few professionals see presenting those numbers as a communication skill—not a math or computation skill—requiring knowledge of the grammar and other rules, a sense of narrative flow, and respect and compassion for the audience. This webinar will use a relatively simple example, walking you through turning an incomprehensible, meaningless pile of numbers into a coherent, effective report, by going through a process that is surprisingly similar to the process of crafting an effective brief or position paper.
